Walt Disney World – Florida

When is an obvious fire engine obviously not a fire engine? When it operates in the “happiest place on Earth”, in this case the Magic Kingdom part of Walt Disney World in Florida.. Because nothing shall break the spell of illusion here.

Having said that, there is a massive fire and rescue station you pass when you drive from Orlando to the Magic Kingdom, but that has no obvious Disney association. In the park you’ll see an old-time firehouse right near the entrance, and the “fire engine” shown is regularly parked nearby. Waiting for passengers. Because, upon closer inspection, it is not a proper fire engine at all, just a small bus.
